The Sausalito Liquor Company was born on a starry, windless night offshore from a small willow grove along the Bay. Our founder, Scott Jampol, was night diving with his porpoise/poodle mix (also named Scott) hunting for abalone and his lost car keys. He was several fathoms deep when his porpadoodle turned to Scott and said, “Man, Sausalito is a rad place. Someone should make liquor about it.” So he did, after coming back to the surface and breathing in a sweet lungful of delicious Pacific coast air. Because although human Scott loves the water, he’s not fully aquatic. Yet.

None of that is true (except for Scott being both our founder and a real Sausalito-dwelling person). What is true is that Sausalito Liquor Company has flourished into a corner tenant in Sausalito’s salty community. You can now find our fine and fun-loving spirits in over 300+ locations and have it shipped to 40 states. Do so and you’ll be sipping on the best Sausalito-inspired beverage that’s ever come to fruition. Do not-so and you won’t be. That’s just a hard truth. So do yourself (and both Scotts) a favor, grab a bottle of our award-winning spirits and pull up a deck chair, blanket, or weathered wooden stump.
